Castello Banfi

Word on the street is....One glass a day is good for your health!

So now, you must choose.

RED or WHITE?

Personally, I am a sweet WHITE wine lover!

Moscato....
ALL DAY, ERRRRDAY!!!

When my husband and I traveled to Rome, Italy we stumbled upon a nice restaurant named

in the

and let me tell you....Italy has some of the BEST wine selections out there. As I said I am a lover of Moscato and of course I ordered that.

THE BEST MOSCATO WINE I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY 33 YEARS OF LIVING!!!

And the hubby, as you see in the photo, ordered red wine. I think I have made him a lover of wine now...but I just couldn't persuade him with the sweet whites. He is more of a dry semi-sweet red wine lover and that is fine.
Opposites attract right!?!

I had never really took the time out to sit and drink red wine because it never appealed to me. But "When In Rome" I decided to give it a taste and we ended up having more than a few night caps with the REDS!

It was fabulous!

So once we got back into the States I figured I would give the REDS a go! We have explored a few vineyards here in Georgia and Tennessee and I have a place in my heart for some of the REDS we have come across. Many of them have a sweetness to them which I like.

If you are ever in Georgia make sure to visit Helen, GA where Habersham Vineyards is located. Try their Granny's Arbor Red Wine. You will thank me later!

If your ever in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee head over to Mountain Valley Vineyards.
Rubarb (White), Mountain Valley Red (Red), and Blackberry (Red) are to die for!!!

We made sure to go home with a few!!

If you guys have any recommendations on wines please let me know!
I will try anything once if its WINE!!!!
